Then to blend technical excellence with components of artistic composition and design to make an emotional statement the viewer relates to raises photography to the level of art.
Irving Penn said “A good photograph is one that communicates a fact, touches the heart and leaves the viewer a changed person for having seen it. It is, in a word effective.” My goal is to create effective portraits and fine art that will put a smile on your face.
Over the years the most frequently heard comment has been “It looks like a painting.” It is – painted with light.
